Farmers in Armacho say Sudan has invaded Ethiopian territory

Local farmers say Sudan, which has been embroiled in years of border conflict,
has invaded Ethiopian territory.

Sudan, for its part, recently filed a lawsuit alleging that seven of my soldiers and
one civilian were captured by Ethiopian forces and killed.

Following this, it was reported that Sudan, which had been firing heavy weapons into
the Ethiopian territory for two days, had invaded additional areas.

Ethiopian farmers in the Armachiho area on their part urged the Ethiopian government
to stop the invasion.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed on his part said Ethiopia and Sudan have the
capacity to resolve their problems peacefully.
